Gosforth Show. August 2024

 

We had an enjoyable (but long!) day at Gosforth Show yesterday.

 

The weather was kind to us and we came away with a cup for the Best Small Trade Stand. Jasper was obviously the main reason for our success.

 

As usual he attracted a lot of attention, and we were placed near one of the main horse thoroughfares so he was able to spot passing equine talent and express his appreciation occasionally by making suitable stallion-type noises.

 

Many thanks to Claire Welford for bringing Jasper over to both Gosforth and Cockermouth shows, and thanks to everyone else who helped organise, donated goods and manned the stall at both shows.

 

Overall we made about £320 profit for the two events.

 

We have volunteer refresher training this month and information will be sent out soon, so hope to see all our volunteers then.
